Since the new version of the PolG NRW the police in North Rhine -Westphalia can for crime prevention, by means of image transmission and recordings in public places where repeated offenses were committed in accordance with certain save prerequisites and deletion periods.

KFN examines since November 1, 2017 as part of a process evaluation, whether legal requirements are met. In addition, on the one hand, the practical application of the regulation and, on the other hand, the effects of it are to be examined.
