New project “Update of regional analyses of right-wing extremism in Schleswig-Holstein”

On September 1st KFN started the research project Update of regional analyses of right-wing extremism in Schleswig-Holstein. Pupils of the seventh and ninth grade at general schools are questioned about right-wing extremism. The aim of the survey is an expanded replication of the studies on right-wing extremism in Schleswig-Holstein (Maresch et al., 2013, Bliesener & Maresch, 2016) carried out in 2013 and 2014. In particular, changes in the frequency of unreported politically motivated crime as well as the perceived threat of politically motivated crime are to be recorded. Furthermore, changes are to be made regarding the occurrence of politically extreme ideas as well as the contact with right-wing persons, organizations, leisure facilities and events, in order to ultimately be able to derive further indications for future prevention work.
